What Secure Radio Costs For A Small Team
Software pricing starts from £10 per named field user and £50 per dispatch seat, with Guided Evaluation, DMR gateway modules, and hardware handled separately.

Secure Radio pricing follows the operating model. Field users and dispatch users do different jobs, so they are priced separately. Field Communications starts from £10 per named field user per month, ex VAT, on annual terms. Field + Dispatch is £50 per dispatch seat per month, ex VAT, on annual terms. Dispatch pricing applies on top of the field users who need mobile access.
That structure avoids hiding dispatch value inside a blended price. If a customer only needs field communications, the scope stays simple. If the customer needs a browser-based control room, supervision, selective calling, map context, messaging, or optional live field video, dispatch is a distinct part of the solution.
A five-person team with no dispatch seat would start from £50 per month ex VAT on annual terms. The same five field users plus one dispatch seat would start from £100 per month ex VAT. Ten field users plus two dispatch seats would start from £200 per month ex VAT.
These are software access examples. Real commercial proposals may depend on support, onboarding, rollout model, optional features, and contract shape.
Guided Evaluation is for teams that need help proving operational fit. It is currently positioned at £2,500-£5,000 ex VAT depending on location, team size, and assistance required. The fee covers a fixed evaluation scope such as use-case discovery, guided onboarding, setup help, one in-person visit, training, and evaluation review.
The free trial proves whether Secure Radio can be activated quickly. Guided Evaluation proves whether it can fit a real site, team, shift, or event.
If DMR Interop is needed, treat it as a guided module rather than part of the standard field-user or dispatch seat price. It requires Guided Evaluation and then a recurring module fee, typically from £250 per configured DMR gateway per month, ex VAT, on annual terms.
A second gateway for a second location or radio route would normally be a second gateway module fee. The fee includes Secure Radio provisioning and route configuration for the gateway; radios, antennas, RF licensing, site radio work, gateway hardware, SIMs, satellite or broadband backhaul, and ongoing connectivity costs are separate unless agreed.
Hardware, accessories, and SIM cards are not included in the software price or Guided Evaluation fee unless explicitly agreed. Some prospects can start with a compatible Android device. Others will need suitable PoC or rugged Android devices, charging accessories, mounts, device management, or SIM connectivity.
Secure Radio can help procure, supply, configure, and set up compatible devices and connectivity at additional cost. This is often the practical difference between a software test and a useful operational evaluation.
These notes are customer-facing guides grounded in current Secure Radio public pages and documentation.
The device choice should support the workflow, not distract from it. Compact Android PoC radios are often a better fit than traditional long-antenna radios.
